How to: Divide a window into multiple panes.
Solution:
Activate the window to split. Select a cell below and to the right of where the window split will be. Select 'Window' and 'Split'.
Do one of the following:
1) To horizontally split the window in two:
a) Select a cell in the first column (column A or 1) in the cell below the future split.
b) Select the 'Window' menu and select 'Split'.
2) To vertically split the window in two:
a) Select a cell in the first row in the first column (column A or 1) to the right of the future split.
b) Select the 'Window' menu and select 'Split'.
